Generally, the computer fairs are held on the 2nd Saturday each month at the Recreation Centre. The University of Canberra occupies a site of almost 120 hectares in the suburb of Bruce, about eight kilometres north-west of the central business district.

Combined with thousands of free parking spaces. Entry to the fair is $3.00 (inc GST) for adults, with accompanied children (under 12) free.
